Below, “we” means the company above, and “you” means the person or business installing the plugin or buying a subscription.

By using the plugin or buying a subscription you agree to these terms. If you do not, do not install it and do not buy.

1. What you get

Karttal AI is a WordPress plugin that changes your site’s content from requests you write, using an artificial-intelligence model.

Karttal AI (free) is distributed through the WordPress.org directory under GPLv2 or later. You may use, modify and redistribute it under that licence, on as many sites as you like, without asking us and without paying us anything. It needs your own key from Anthropic or OpenAI.

Karttal AI Pro is a separate plugin you download from us. Its PHP code is also GPL — WordPress requires that, and we have no intention of working around it. What you are actually buying is:

• the right to use it on the number of sites in your plan;
• automatic updates for as long as your subscription is active;
• the included AI actions, if you would rather not open an Anthropic account;
• support, within the limits of your plan.

2. Plans and prices

Prices are final. VAT is not applicable under Article 310 of the Romanian Fiscal Code.

The yearly discount is real, not decorative — you pay less and get exactly the same thing. We verify this with a script before every release, precisely so the “better value” option can never accidentally become the more expensive one.

Agency genuinely becomes cheaper from 9 sites upward (€10 per site against €24.99). Below 9 sites, several Pro licences cost you less — and that is written on the plans screen, not only here.

Price changes are announced at least 30 days in advance by email. Your price stays as it was when you subscribed until the next renewal; if the new price does not suit you, you can cancel before it takes effect.

3. Payment, renewal and cancellation

Payments are processed by Stripe. Your card details go straight to them; we never see or store them.

Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each period until you stop them. You can cancel at any time from the Stripe portal (the link is in the receipt emailed to you). After cancelling, your subscription stays active until the end of the period you have already paid for — we do not cut off access you paid for.

If a payment fails, Stripe retries for a few days. Your subscription stays active throughout. We do not cut off access over one expired card.

4. Refunds and the right of withdrawal

14 days, no explanation needed. Write to plugins@remomedia.ro within 14 days of payment and you get a full refund.

This applies to renewals too: if you forgot to cancel and a new period was charged, tell us within 14 days of the charge and we will refund it.

Separately from our policy, if you are a consumer in the EU you have a statutory right of withdrawal within 14 days of entering the contract, under Romanian Emergency Ordinance 34/2014 implementing Directive 2011/83/EU. You may exercise it by any clear statement sent to the address above. Our policy is at least as good as the statutory right, so in practice you never have to choose between them.

5. What an “action” is, and what happens when they run out

One action is one complete request of yours, from the message you write until the assistant stops. Behind the scenes a single action may mean three or four exchanges with the AI model — searching, proposing, applying. It counts as one, however many exchanges it took.

A cycle that has already started always finishes, even if you hit the limit midway — it would be absurd to leave you holding proposed changes you can no longer apply.

The counter resets on the first day of each month. Unused actions do not roll over. On Agency, the 1,000 are pooled across every site on the licence.

When the included actions run out, nothing breaks. The plugin tells you and offers to let you add your own Anthropic key — with it there is no limit from us at all, and your included actions are not spent either. We do not lock your site and we do not disable your tools.

Included actions run on Claude Sonnet 5. This is a cost decision, and we would rather state it than hide it: on Opus 5, 100 actions would cost more than the subscription, so we could not include them at all. You can pick a different model in Settings, or use your own key.

6. Sites, staging, and what is not allowed

Your plan covers a number of sites. A site means one WordPress installation with its own domain. Test installations (staging, dev., .local, localhost) do not count — there is no sense in paying twice to try something before putting it live.

Do not use the plugin to:

• generate unlawful or deceptive content, or content that infringes someone’s rights;
• work around the AI provider’s limits or terms;
• change sites you have no right to access;
• resell the included actions as a service of your own to third parties, outside the Agency or Business plans, which exist for exactly that.

7. What you are responsible for, and what we are

You are responsible for:

• what you ask the plugin to do;
• checking the preview before approving a change;
• having a backup of your site;
• complying with the law for the content you publish, including copyright and data protection;
• the costs billed by your AI provider, if you use your own key.

We are responsible for: the plugin working as the documentation describes, fixing reported defects, and delivering updates while your subscription is active.

Support is by email at plugins@remomedia.ro. We reply on working days. For the free version, support is the WordPress.org forum, as time allows.

8. Limits it is only fair to state up front

• AI models get things wrong. They can misread a request, write inaccurate text, or pick a different page from the one you had in mind. That is why every change is previewed and approved. The approval is yours, and so is the responsibility.
• We guarantee no results. Not traffic, not search rankings, not sales, and not appearing in AI assistants’ answers. Nobody can guarantee that, and anyone who does is selling you something other than what you think.
• We do not guarantee the AI provider’s availability. If Anthropic has an outage, the plugin does not work. That is not ours to control.
• Restore points are not backups. They save only what the plugin touched, for 30 days, up to 200 of them. They do not replace a site backup.
• We do not promise any particular uptime for our own licence and included-actions server. If it is unavailable, the free plugin and your own key keep working — which is exactly why we did not make everything depend on us.

9. Liability

To the extent the law allows, our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the last 12 months. For the free version, where you paid nothing, the plugin is provided “as is”, without warranty.

We are not liable for indirect losses: lost profit, lost data, downtime, or the cost of recreating content.

Nothing here limits liability for fraud or gross negligence, nor any right the law gives you as a consumer.

10. Termination

You may uninstall the plugin and cancel your subscription at any time.

We may withdraw access to updates and included actions in the event of a serious breach of these terms, refunding the unused period. We will not, in any circumstance, disable or damage your site — the code stays installed and works with your own key.

11. Changes to these terms

We may change them. Material changes are announced 30 days in advance, by email to subscribers and by a notice on the plugin’s page. If the change does not suit you, you can cancel before it takes effect.

12. Governing law and settling disagreements

Romanian law applies. The competent courts are those of Bucharest. If you are a consumer in the EU, you keep the right to bring proceedings in the courts of your own country.
